Don’t rush when you brush!
For the best results,brush for least two minutes using a flouride-containing toothpaste twice a day. When you have finished, spit, don’t rinse!
Some electric toothbrushes have timers to help you meet your two-minute brushing target.
If you need advice on your brushing technique or your electric toothbrush, bring it to your next appointment and we’ll be happy to advise you.
Don’t Forget to Floss!
By flossing or using interdental brushes just once a day, you can decrease your risk of gum disease and increase your chances of maintaining good oral health throughout your lifetime.
Visit your dentist regularly
Your clinician will advise you on how often you need to visit to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral problems that can affect your overall health and well-being.
They can examine your teeth, gums, and mouth for any signs of disease or damage, and provide treatment or advice as needed.

Do you treat NHS Patients?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide service to patients via the NHS. If you are an NHS Patient and require treatment, please contact the NHS Devon Dental Helpline on 03330 063300
Do you have stairs at the practice?
Unfortunately, we do have stairs in the building and the surgeries are located on the first and second floors. The layout of the building prevents us installing a lift or access ramp.

How do we join your waiting list?
To join the waiting list to register with the practice as a private patient, please go to our Contact page and complete the registration form.
Do you have any extended opening hours during the week?
We do! While our phone lines still close at the normal time, we carry on providing treatments into the early evening on Wednesdays for patients who have responsibilities during the day.
Why, if I am registered with a named Dentist, do I not always see that Dentist?
Following our principals of Shared Care, our patient-focused approach to your care ensures you receive the highest standard of treatment, using the most appropriate member of the team to meet your individual needs. However, your registered dentist will still maintain a close oversight of your care.
